The first personal trainer and fitness instructor certification course given by the North American Organization C.O.R.F.I.T. International is complete. Forty-one students graduated both the Personal Trainer (Level 1) and Performance Nutrition (Level 2) programs and received their internationally recognized C.O.R.F.I.T. certificates. The students demonstrated a deep knowledge of the material during the exam and the founder of the C.O.R.F.I.T. school, Glen Cunningham, expressed his admiration for the Bulgarians. He shared that over the span of almost two decades, he had never encountered such a high level of interest nor had he ever witness such an unyielding thirst for knowledge than he experienced with the Bulgarian students.

Glen states that: "The most significant point to acknowledge is that the course was offered in its full entirety without any concessions made to the fact that the course was given through a translator assisted presentation. It was truly remarkable what the students were able to accomplish."
After the daily activities with the C.O.R.F.I.T. school, Mr. Cunningham was invited to some of the most elite gyms where he offered technical expertise to the instructors and was introduced to many of Bulgaria’s most famous weight training athletes. Glen expressed his sincere appreciation for the opportunity. Even our bodybuilding champion, Dimitar Dimitrov had the opportunity to complete two workouts under the supervision of Glen Cunningham. Glen was quick to acknowledge that he was honored to have the opportunity to share many training concepts with our champion. Glen stated: "It was amazing that despite a small (laughs) language problem, we were definitely in-sync with our training philosophies."

The good performance on our side was represented by Associate Professor Julian Karibiberov who was invited to provide his expert seminars on many aspects of training in the C.O.R.F.I.T. classroom. Mr. Cunningham expressed his delight in having such a highly respected professor show such an interest in the C.O.R.F.I.T. program. Glen considered Julian presence a major boost to the C.O.R.F.I.T. program. In fact, Glen was so inspired with his new colleague that he prompted to extend exclusive rights to J.K. Fitness to promote the C.O.R.F.I.T. school all across Europe.
The European head office of C.O.R.F.I.T. shall be in Sofia, Bulgaria. The training center and shall be equipped with (in compliance with the American requirements) direct communication to the American head offices in Las Vegas, USA and Canadian head office in Montreal, Canada. A gym is going to be equipped with Nautilus machines, the most recognized brand in America.
With respect to the just completed course, the two students who achieved the highest grade are currently preparing to move to North America to pursue their personal training career. The Macedonian citizen Oliver Toshevski, representative of SNC in Macedonia, completed the course with one of the highest academic standings. As such, he received a personal invitation, sent by Bulgarian Assistant Professor Boris Chimev to travel to Canada and work under the guidance of Boris.

Following the completion of the course, the C.O.R.F.I.T. Bulgaria headquarters received a flood of calls from fitness center owners seeking personal trainers. The great interest caused by the first course and the benefits for the participants was the reason why Glen Cunningham was invited again in October.
The completion of the first two levels of the C.O.R.F.I.T. program does not mean that instruction ends; it is going to continue. Those who registered with the organization and received their membership cards shall receive new information and methodical help from the offices in Sofia, Bulgaria; Las Vegas, United States; and Montreal, Canada. As well, they are going to be orientated towards new clients as personal trainers.
As well, in October, both the Level 1 and Level 2 undergraduate courses will be offered again and for those who successfully completed their undergraduate studies may elect to enter the C.O.R.F.I.T. Postgraduate Program in Levels 3 and 4. Level 3 places an emphasis on student research in the sciences related to Biomechanical Analysis of Human Movement with a particular emphasis on Joint Articulation. Level 4 places an emphasis on student teaching. The teaching portfolio includes seminars in the sports sciences, practical field experience, and the teaching of advanced training applications. The graduate program also provides the benefit of receiving two separate certificates including a certification in Biomechanical Analysis as well as a Masters-Level teaching diploma. The postgraduate students will be given the opportunity to serve in the role of instructors for the new undergraduate students in the C.O.R.F.I.T. cyclical education process. C.O.R.F.I.T. seminars are also planned for other big cities within Bulgaria.
The C.O.R.F.I.T. certification school has begun with great impact and the excitement that has been created suggests that the certification program is going to have major influence on the fitness industry not only in Bulgaria, but across Europe. When asked what he thought of the Bulgarian students, Glen Cunningham stated emphatically that: "While all the C.O.R.F.I.T. classes have been enjoyable experiences, without question this group represented the most outstanding class in C.O.R.F.I.T. history!"
