C.O.R.F.I.T. certifies 35 at the J.K. Fitness showroom in Sofia, Bulgaria
C.O.R.F.I.T. and Dr. Julian Karabiberov join forces for the second time to offer the Elite-Level Cetification course.
During our stay in Bulgaria in October 2005, for the second time we offered our certification course, this time at the beautiful J.K. Fitness showroom and fitness facility in Sofia.
Under the leadership of Julian Karabiberov, the class saw 35 students graduate the C.O.R.F.I.T. Personal Trainer and Performance Nutrition program earning their Elite-Level Personal Trainer and Performance Nutrition certifications.
The course offering also included 10 graduate level students who earned their Biomechanical Analysis certification and Master’s Level Teaching Diploma. It was particularly satisfying for C.O.R.F.I.T. management to feature the lecture series of the graduate students. The entire group provided an impressive series of lectures in preparing the undergraduates for their exam.

Once again, the biomechanics component (on-the-floor training) of the program was placed in the expert hands of former E.A.S. world champion and Master’s Level instructor Boris Tchimev whose presence provided the best in technical tutoring.

The academic performance of the Bulgarian students was mind-boggling as they turned it into overdrive in learning all of the requirements of the course. They were tireless in their quest for knowledge and unyielding in their desire to succeed.
I wish each and every on of these earnest, hard-working and honest people the best of success in their chosen careers. I look forward to seeing them again soon... I feel the beckoning of Bulgaria and anxiously await my next visit.

Special Acknowledgement
The success of both the weekend and course presentation would never have been measured in term of positive but rather deeply negative had it not been for two graduate students who provided a miraculous presence in allowing for the seminar and the course to be translated.
Yoto and Emil stepped up and literally saved the day as they provided brilliant translation of the entire material for a six hour seminar as they shared the stage for the presentation in Stara Zagora. With reference to the C.O.R.F.I.T. certification program, these two intellectual giants paved the way for 35 undergraduates to gain their certification and made the difference between success and failure for the C.O.R.F.I.T. classes.
Yoto proved to be an astonishingly competent translator of all the text both scientific and layman and proved also to be a very charismatic speaker that held audience attention throughout.
Emil for his part proved to a most crucial ally both in the classroom in providing the seminar material, and taking care of all the media and electronics duties. He also established himself as not only an ally to C.O.R.F.I.T. but a true friend to me personally. His extended courtesies were unrelenting in both aspects, and we where able to enjoy many visit to many Bulgaria’s landmarks throughout Sofia and we even included a trip to the fable monastery of Bulgaria.
I would also like extended my sincere appreciate to Emil's wife Eleanor who not only provided great suppers as well as a full mean plan for my trip home. The friendship shared with them and their children made gave the trip a completeness that other wise would not have been possible. I am indebted. Please to report that Emil has made a career change an has just recently opened his own fitness facility: an innovative enterprise... a Woman’s Only training center.

Boris and I have been busy as they have been invited to no less than 6 fitness facilities to give seminars including, but not limited to: RESIST gym in Stara Zagora; Spartak fitness facility in Plovdiv; and Ivo Ivanov, champion martial artist and director of a new fitness center, has extended an invitation to Boris and I to his facility.
