Great Success in Bulgaria
C.O.R.F.I.T. International made its first excursion into Europe in May 2005 with a two week course in Sofia, Bulgaria.
What a voyage it was! Student interest was literaly over-the-top with forty-one registered students and three dozen more applicants registered on the waiting list for our next session to be held in September 2005 (organized by master instructor Boris Tchimev).
The C.O.R.F.I.T. certification classes were held at the world-renouned National Sports Academy. It was the first time in history a Canadian teaching contigent was invited to the famed campus.

The class was comprised of an impressive group of highly-educated and extremely motivated students. The student body represented experienced bodybuilders as well as well trained endurance atheletes. The students were put on an intensive regime that had them undergoing an arduous daily schedule with mornings spent in the classroom and afternoons in the training facility.

Throughout the entire process the students manifested a "cut-above" quality. They demonstrated their deep scientific knowledge and illustrated an unyielding thirst for knowledge that was nothing short of compelling!
After all, when you consider that they had to not only undergo an exhausting measure of material, but they also had to endure my teaching (including my stories) through an interpretor! Save a word of praise for our saviour and fellow student Petko who was nothing short of brilliant in giving everything he had to our program.

Even more noteworthy was the prevailling friendship that carried us each day. The Team C.O.R.F.I.T. spirit exhibited by the class propelled us to the successful completion of the program for each and every student which was the most inspiring aspect of the entire processs. At the concluding dinner that the students graciously arranged for us, a toast was rendered to not only "Team C.O.R.F.I.T.", but "Friend C.O.R.F.I.T."!
I returned home with loaded with great memories. I am trully touched to have met the finest group of individuals anyone could ever hope to meet. Each of them holds a special place in my heart. I anxiously await my next visit to Bulgaria in September.
