Rationale

The C.O.R.F.I.T. Scientific Principles of Weight Resistance Training program is a home-study course that provides the student with the necessary theoretical scientific background in order to provide clients with safe and effective Weight-Resistance Training programs.

In order to fulfill the full requirement to become a hands-on Personal Trainer, whereby you provide clients with training regimes as well as practical instruction while accompaning them onto the gym floor, students are required to complete the C.O.R.F.I.T. Level I Practice Weight-Resistance Training Methodology program concurently with the Level I Theory course.

Upon successful completion of both the Level I Theory and Level I Practice courses, the student will receive a C.O.R.F.I.T. Personal Trainer Certificate.

  • Advanced Scientific Principles of Aerobic and Anaerobic Training by Glen D. Cunningham: 375-page Science Book. (Level I Theory)
  • Advanced Systems in Weight Resistance Training by Glen D. Cunningham: 600-page Exercise Book which includes pictures and descriptions of over 150 different Exercises (Level I Practice);
  • C.O.R.F.I.T. DVD Series by Glen D. Cunningham: 3-DVD series of C.O.R.F.I.T. science lectures

As a FREE GIFT for signing up for the course, you will receive another C.O.R.F.I.T. course manual at no extra charge:

  • Performance Nutrition by Glen D. Cunningham: 275-page Nutrion Book which provides all the necessary information to allow for optimal Nutritional Programming. Further, this text will allow the interest student to pursue the C.O.R.F.I.T. Performance Nutrition Certificate on top of the Personal Trainer Certificate.
