Rationale

The C.O.R.F.I.T. Advanced Biomechanical Analysis Certificate program is a home-study course that provides the graduate with the initial requirement in pursuit of a Masters Level Teaching Diploma.

In order to fulfill the full requirement of the Postgraduate program and attain C.O.R.F.I.T. Masters Level Teaching status, students are required to complete the C.O.R.F.I.T. Masters Level Teaching Diploma program.

Please note, students who graduate the Postgraduate Program required courses will receive two certificates, Advanced Biomechanical Analysis Certificate and Masters Level Teaching Diploma.

Course Structure

The emphasis of this course is on student research where students will actively partake in researching (from crdible sources) information regarding muscle, bone and joint structures, articulations and classifications. As well, students will learn how to actively design advanced level programs for clients with specific considerations in mind including: Train in heat, humidity, high altitude etc...

  • Hand-in assignments.
    • Report on joint structure and joint aritculation of Spinal Column.
    • Reports on joint structure and joint articulation of Shoulders, Elbows, Hips and Knees.
    • Report on bone classifications and bone diseases.
    • Five advanced program designs
  • Written examination.

Prerequisite

Student wishing to pursue a C.O.R.F.I.T. Advanced Biomechanical Analysis Certificate must have completed the C.O.R.F.I.T. Undergraduate Program consisting of the Scientific Principles of Weight-Resistance Training course, the C.O.R.F.I.T. Weight-Resistance Training Methodolgy course and the C.O.R.F.I.T. Performance Nutrition course. There are NO exceptions to this prerequisite.
