To Whom It May Concern:

I know Glen Cunningham from the days when he was an undergraduate student in the Department of Physical Education at McGill University. The curriculum that he followed provided Glen with a strong background in kinesiology and movement science. The core curriculum included courses in human structural anatomy, biomechanics, physiology, exercise physiology, scientific principles of athletic training, motor development, nutrition & wellness, psychology of motor performance and social psychology of sport. The curriculum that he followed included 18 credits in physical activity skills with emphasis placed on the teaching of these skills. Since the program was designed for teaching professionals, it included two courses in pedagogy specific for Physical Education teachers. The program also provided three student teaching field experiences. Courses were also followed in media technology and intercultural education to provide background support for teaching.

The program that Glen took combined with his personal interest in resistance training forms the background for a career in the personal training industry. Glen has the background and the enthusiasm that is so necessary to deliver a quality instruction program. He is an accomplished author of several texts for the Continental Organization of Registered Fitness Instructors and Teachers (C.O.R.F.I.T.). His degree from the Faculty of Education with specialization in Physical Education makes him a "qualified" professional to deliver an instructional certification program based on the interpretation of scientific research and with sound teaching practices.

Thus, I have no hesitancy to endorse Glen Cunningham.

Yours respectfully,
